How we make money

Last updated October 24, 2026

Threeworld is paid by the people who use it, not by the platforms it lists. Here is exactly where the money comes from, where it does not, and what that means for what you read.

Subscriptions to the assistant

Browsing, comparing, the index, the lists, the reviews and every guide are free with no account. The one thing we sell is the AI assistant, which reads the index and the platforms' documents and answers questions about them. It comes with a plan:

  • Plus: $19 a month or $190 a year.
  • Pro: $99 a month or $990 a year.
  • Max: $199 a month or $1990 a year.

That is the whole of our revenue. The pricing page has the detail and the refund terms are plain.

What we do not take

  • No platform pays to be listed, ranked or reviewed. A platform is in the directory because its listings can be read, and it is on a list because of its figures. There is no sponsored position and no way to buy one.
  • No referral or affiliate commission today. Links to a platform go to the platform. We do not earn a fee when you sign up or invest. If that ever changes, the link will say so where you click it and this page will be updated first.
  • No cut of your investment. Threeworld never holds or moves money. You invest on the platform, under its terms, and we are not in the transaction.
  • No sale of your data. What we keep is in the privacy policy, and none of it is sold.

Platforms as partners

A platform can give us a feed so its listings are read more accurately, or help us correct a fee or a term we got wrong. That costs nothing and buys nothing: a partner platform is scored by the same rules and its fees are checked against the same sources as every other. The partners page describes what we ask for. No partner has reviewed, edited or approved a page on this site.

What this means for what you read

A review can say a platform is expensive, a list can leave a platform out, and a report can say that a platform's listings are closed, without anyone losing a customer. The RealT post-mortem is on the site because it is true, not because it was paid for or paid against. The methodology explains the rules the numbers follow.

Who is behind it

Threeworld is built by a small team led by its founder, named on every article and on the about page. Nobody on the team is paid by a platform we list, and if any of us holds an investment on one we will say so on the page that covers it.
