About

hBits was incorporated in Mumbai in 2018 and spent its first years selling fractional stakes in leased office buildings through special purpose vehicles, reaching about ₹500 crore of assets under management by 2024. In April 2025 SEBI registered hBits Investment Trust as a Small and Medium REIT, and the platform now plans to move its properties and new purchases into listed SM REIT schemes managed by hBits Investment Management. In that model you buy units of a scheme in its public offering, in lots of ₹10 lakh, and later trade them on the stock exchange through a demat account. Each scheme holds completed, income-producing commercial property, pays out at least 95% of its cash flow every quarter and is valued once a year. hBits handles leasing and maintenance. As of the last readable copy of the site, in June 2026, the schemes page said offerings were launching soon and invited investors to a waitlist, so no fee, lock-in or trading figures exist yet. They will appear in each scheme's offer document.
